The name of this club is "BAF Shaheen College Kurmitola IT Club," abbreviated as ‘BAFSKITC’. Established on 4th September 2016. It is a non-communal, politically neutral organization, considered an independent club approved by BAF Shaheen College Kurmitola. The slogan of this club is – "We make IT happen."
Activities
1. To regularly organize sessions/seminars or workshops on various topics related to information and computer technology.
2. To conduct various competitions related to information and computer technology for students.
3. To organize and provide support for online-based competitions in information and computer technology.
4. To host an annual national-level solo or combined IT festival.
5. To hold an introductory meeting for newly admitted students about the club.
6. To organize farewell events and annual programs for executive members.
7. To organize and participate in various social events.
Vision and Mission
1. To promote knowledge of information technology among higher secondary level students.
2. To organize various competitions aimed at increasing and practicing knowledge in information and computer technology. Similarly, to represent BAF Shaheen College Kurmitola by participating in competitions organized by other organizations or institutions.
3. To develop students as skilled individuals in information technology and assist in enhancing their skills and innovation.
4. To maintain good relations and cooperation with information technology enthusiasts or organizations across the country for the continuous development of technology.
5. To participate in and provide support for any activities organized by the college authorities as needed.
6. To maintain unity with all other clubs or organizations approved by the college and to provide cooperation whenever possible.
7. To celebrate various national and international days.
8. To establish a movement for the practice of information and computer technology and to promote the formation of organizations related to information and science-technology in all educational institutions.
